The Furer Family

A fun shoot tonight with a very "active" young family.  Emerson and Eliza were about as difficult to keep in one place as they were cute together.  It took a lot of time but we eventually were able to get some great shots!

Susan and Stephen Engagement Session

We had met with Susan a few times already but yesterday was the first time we had the pleasure of meeting with Stephen.  He lives in Oregon and is in town for their wedding - this weekend!  It definitely is not typical to do the engagement session so close to the wedding but there are cases like this when it happens.  We still encourage our couples to do the session as it is a great way for us all to get to know each other prior to the wedding and makes the wedding day photography run much more smoothly.  The session was at Tallyrand Park in Bellefonte and we were fortunate enough to still find some nice fall foliage - probably our last of the year.

Wall Clusters and Splits

To really make a statement more than a single print is often needed.  If you have a wall space in mind and are looking for a unique and modern arrangement to display try one of our clusters or splits.  A cluster is a grouping of individual images printed separately and hung together to form a grouping.  A split is one image split across the prints that make up the grouping.

Please note the images below are not our images they are to illustrate the print groupings only.

Ann and Jason - Engagement Session

Ann and Jason will be married in just a few weeks and were able to finally find some time to do there engagement photos.  We decided to do them where their reception will be - the McCann School of Art.  The school is located just past Wipple Dam State Park off Rt 26 in a gorgeous patch of forest.  We didn't want to use up all the great spots, knowing that we'll be doing their wedding photos there too, but we did want to try and get some of the remaining fall color.  Ann's son Jack came along with them and got in on a few photos too.

Christmas/Holiday sessions booking now!

I know, I know, Halloween is barely over but yes, it is time to start thinking about Christmas already.  We will be booking Christmas/Holiday mini-sessions in our studio between Nov 22 and Dec 4.  Our setup this year will be simple, classic and modern -no Santa's, no Christmas trees and no cheesy props (unless you bring them).  Check out some of our examples below.  Special thanks to our little model Emmy for being so cooperative.

The sessions will run about 30 minutes and will include 1 group setup and a custom ornament of your favorite shot!  Bring your husband, your wife, your kids or your dog - we'll shoot them all!  Haha, a little photographer humor there, sorry.  The cost is only $35 for the session and you will have the option to order additional prints, choose from our custom card designs or purchase digital files to create your own.

Here are a few examples of our Holiday setup shown in some of our card designs and our metal ornaments!

Check out our little Emmy in her Christmas suit. How cute!

Who wouldn't love to receive a beautiful customized card from you this Holiday season?

Cards are either 5x7 or 5x5, flat or folded and come with envelopes included.

Here are some shots of our metal photo ornaments. All ornaments are printed on actual metal with a high gloss finish for a professional look that will last for generations.

Abby is one!

We photographed Erin and Dan's wedding a few years ago and they came back to us to photograph their little girl Abby when she turned one.  She is a little cutie but did give us a bit of a hard time at the start.  We had Emmy there to try and distract and entertain her and it seemed to help.

"Momma, I don't want to have my picture taken anymore!"

She loves her little ducky

Look at all those teeth!

Amanda and Keith Portrait Session

Keith was our first walk-in customer thanks to our new sign!  He came in curious to see what we were all about and wondering if we could do some photos of him and his girlfriend Amanda.  We had not had consultations with them prior to their session, as we do with our wedding couples, so we were a bit unsure about what they wanted and how the shoot would go.  That changed about 5 seconds into the shoot as they began to play and have fun in front of the camera - as comfortable as if we had known them for years.  This fantastic session took place at Curtain Village.
